Deep Shade Plant List
These will be the plants that will go in the Entry Way area at the front of the house. Since the area is against a north facing wall and under an overhang, it will receive virtually no direct or filtered sun during the year. As a confined space that people will walk by on the way to the front door, the plantings will need to be low, slow growing, evergreen and formal in appearance. I'm considering the following plants for the Entry Way (an * means I've actually used the plant):
