Salpiglossis sinuata 'Chocolate Royale'
 |
(08/19/2010) Salpilossis are a great late season annual with rich deep colors that standout in the garden. This variety has an intense red, almost chocolate color with dark veins. They also make an excellent cut flower. |

I planted several in a planter that gets moderate shade and they have done very well.
I’ve also planted two in 6″ pots that have not thrived. The foliage collapsed and only a few small flowers were produced. My guess is that they are suffering from over watering. |
