Buddleia - Butterfly Bush
- Overview Hardy in Zones 5 - 11. Buddleia is deciduous to semi-evergreen north of Zone 9. Prefers occasional trimming to keep the plant bushy in shape and to increase flower production. Some varieties can reach 15' in height if left untrimmed. Produces long, striking, cone shaped, fragrant flowers that attract butterflies. Prefers dry, sunny conditions. Note, correct spelling of the genus is buddleja, not buddleia.
